PermaRock becomes a founder member of the EWIA (now INCA), the national trade association for external wall insulation (EWI) manufacturers.
1981
ThermaRend becomes the first EWI system to be tested in the UK by the British Board of Agrément (BBA).
1987
PermaRock awarded BBA Agrément Certificate for Mineral Fibre System.
1987
PermaRock moves to larger premises in Loughborough and installs additional manufacturing equipment for renders and adhesives.
1989
PermaRock awarded Agrément Certificate awarded for Polystrene System.
1992
PermaRock achieved compliance to the Quality Assurance Quality standard BS5750 (now BS EN ISO 9001) for production, installation & technical services.
1995
PermaRock EWI (Mineral Fibre & Polystyrene based) systems assessed & certificated by the BRE (Certificate No. 029/95) onto a number of substrates including, uniquely, application onto timber and metal frame structures.
1996
PermaRock was taken over by the Horrocks Group.
1997
PermaRock was awarded BRE certification of their Phenolic EWI system (Certificate No. 041/97).
2007
PermaRock install new manufacturing plant to increase production capacity, improve manufacturing efficiencies and cut down on manual handling. Warehousing and storage facilities were also expanded.
2007
PermaRock, as part of the Horrocks Group, are acquired of eaga plc on 1st November.
