3D-PLUS COLOUR SYSTEM /
For use with our through-coloured renders and exterior coatings, the Caparol 3D-Plus Colour System collection, which was specifically developed for architectural design, has now been modified and expanded: With over 1350 colour shades, the collection now contains not only a larger selection of colours, but fourteen new harmonious colour groupings – primarily in the modern red/orange and grey ranges as well as pink and magenta shades. Due to the subtly graded arrangement, the 3D-Plus Colour System offers near-endless colour shade selections which can create a well-rounded design for exterior facades and interiors.

In addition to the 3D-Plus Colour System range, we can also closely match RAL, Pantone, RGB, BS4800 and other widely used commercial colour ranges.
The 3D-Plus Colour System is available on colour charts, colour fans and on CD-Rom, providing RGB (Red-Green-Blue) and LCH (Lightness-Chrome-Hue) colour co-ordination lightness factor information that can be utilised in drawing and design software packages.
Lightness Factor (LF)
In relation to colour shades with a Lightness Factor (LF) of 20 or below, there can be issues associated with High Solar Gain and Colour Stability in certain cases, particularly on External Wall Insulation Systems.
We would therefore recommend that any colours requested/specified with a Lightness Factor approaching 20 or below are discussed in detail with PermaRock in order that we can offer the relevant advice prior to you taking any final decisions relating to colour choice(s).
